Wesensbeurteilung (character assessment)

Me and Exa had a little road trip to 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 last weekend, to enter a Character Assessment (WB).

This is a breeding predisposition test for German Shepherds which involves a series of tests for dogs aged between 9 and 13 months, the tests are to assess the dogs:

impartiality;
social behaviour;
noise sensitivity;
confidence with movement;
play and prey instinct and
basic character.

This test is mandatory in Germany if you want to breed from your GSD and register puppies with the German KC, the SV.

I am delighted to say, Exa didn’t let me down and she did a super job and passed with flying colours 🙌🏻
